In the heart of eastern Antioquia, 2.5 hours from Medellín, IX Cacao Ecolodge occupies a 30-hectare farm where the San Carlos River, the tropical forest, and cacao cultivation coexist in harmony. Our wooden cabins blend seamlessly into the landscape, allowing nature to take center stage during your stay.

We went looking for silence and found something better: the sound of the river all night long. Waking up and seeing the mist rising among the cacao trees was the highlight of the trip. We'll be back in December, without a doubt.
